So the last time I wrote was back in December of 07. Seeing as how 8 months have past since I decided to post, I figured I would write about what has happened since then; both personal and technical.
I obviously cannot do a month to month overview so I will give a summary of everything that has happened. I think the major couple things were that I sold my MacBook Pro (well I sold the iMac to get a MBP) as I wanted something more powerful than mobile hardware (mainly quad core). So I sold the MBP and bought a PC with the intensions of installing OS X as my main OS. Well it took me about until 2 weeks ago to install it. So I have a perfectly running hackintosh on my PC. Second thing was that I sold my iPhone as it lacked 3G. So I bought a few phones, but finally settled on the HTC Advantage X7501 Windows Mobile phone. I kept that for a good 3-4 months before buying the 3G iPhone I have now.
Personal life has changed a little bit as you can see in my Flickr pics. Obviously my girlfriend and I. We’ve been together for about 6 months now I’d say. But she’s in Japan right now, so it’s hard to deal with. I have also sold my Xbox 360 in favor of the PS3, and I’m not regretting it one bit. I have some qualms with things, but that will be another post as it will take far too long to write. I also have to move at the end of this month, and being lazy, I don’t wanna move. Moving’s a bitch and takes way too damn long. Not to mention spending more money (deposit and all). All of it is crap, lol. Well until next time.
Since the wordpress app for the iPhone came out today, it looks like I’ll be posting quite a bit more now. Sorry for the everlasting delays, but I’m ever so lazy. For now…
In my last entry I talked about my disdain for Creative…in my latest entry I will talk about a great issue I had with nVidia drivers and Vista. I plan on making this a 3 part series, so I can actually get into the good things about Vista, but that will be a little bit later as there’s lots of things that bother me about this. Don’t get me wrong, I love Vista, but due to my issue a couple days ago, I wanted to ditch Windows for good, and just switch to Linux! But thanks to my friend, I was able to keep Vista going. If it wasn’t for gaming, I’d switch to Linux in a heartbeat. But alas, I’m stuck to Windows for Crysis and World in Conflict…
I’ll be the first to admit that I cannot stand consoles. But as of late PC titles have been getting poorer, and poorer due to consoles. Is it really time for me to give up on PC gaming and go back to consoles? Hopefully by the time I’m done with this article I can truly decide. I’m going to be a lot less negative in this article than I have in the past, which means I’ll be less “ranty” as well. Gotta see the good things in everything right? Find out more after the break.
